Well my bio has finally been written and submitted, my riding volume increasing and fundraising taking shape.
What is the lesson here? Sometimes progress seems slow (perhaps because it is LOL), but as long as we are focused on our goal we will at least keep moving forward.
Just some random thoughts on a spring morning…..
Got back on the bike this past long weekend after giving my body a much needed 2 month break. Wow, did it ever feel good to pedal. And of course I had some great friends join me. I have lots of pedaling ahead of me so the break was probably a good idea.

It’s official. I shall be a National Rider for the SNKCR 2012.
What does this mean? It means that I will be riding some across Canada over 17 days and covering some 7,000 kms with a group of very amazing riders and volunteers to raise funds and awareness for childhood cancers. To make a difference in the lives of children living with cancer and their families.
I first said (out loud) that I was going to this back in 2010. I didn’t know how, or who with, I just knew that I was going to do this. I did have a vision of doing this years earlier, just never said it out loud. I suppose there might be something to the idea of “tell the universe what you want”. Who knows.
Last year I was given the privilege of being a volunteer on the ride. It was one of the hardest things I have done in my life. But it was also the most amazing, and had a tremendously profound impact on me. Sounds so cliche, but it changed my life forever.
This is the first blog posting of this amazing journey. September 5th isn’t that far off… lots to do between now and then….
xoxo
